The Bay Area team hosted a special event to introduce colleagues to the 2026 Bay Area Barney & Barney grant recipients: Coco Kids, Parent Services Project and Running for a Better Oakland. We are committed to serving those in need, supporting our youth, advancing the arts, standing against societal injustice, and protecting the environment. We fulfill this commitment to our local communities through the work of the Barney & Barney Foundation.

Last month we hosted an important HR Academy in-person session "Communicating Benefits That Work: A Multigenerational Strategy for Today’s Workforce" in San Diego. Thank you Julianna Brazil, Chrisinda Mowrer and Jennifer Hilliard for sharing your expertise. Thank you to the volunteers who represented the Voices of each Generation: Laurie Linskens Shock, Michael Pondrom, Heather Giammarinaro, Jennifer Hilliard and Liam Parker. It was a great engaging session where attendees explored the evolving needs of today’s workforce and the strategies employers can use to help support employees across generations.
