Long post alert‼️ 🔔 🚨
Spoke with my uncle today, and he sent me a picture of my grandfather. It was beautiful! ❤️ It made me miss both my grandfather and my dad. They left me with memories, wisdom, and lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
And it got me thinking… I want to leave my children with those same lessons, but 10 times more. I want them to have the knowledge, resources, and foundation to do more than survive. I want them to know how to build, how to own, how to protect what they have, and how to pass it down to the next generation.
When I’m no longer here, I want my children to know exactly what to do with the life insurance policy I leave behind. I want them to understand that it’s not just money; it’s a tool, a stepping stone, and an opportunity to keep building what I started. I want to be that great-great ancestor whose name may be spoken generations later because I made a way for the people who came after me. 🙏🏾❤️
I’m tired of our generations having to start from scratch. I’m tired of our children having to fight their way out of the same circumstances their parents and grandparents fought to escape. Somewhere, somebody has to make a sacrifice. Somebody has to think beyond today. Somebody has to decide that the cycle stops here.
And I’m willing to be that somebody.
We have to start somewhere, and one thing life has taught me is that none of us has forever. We all have an expiration date. That’s not being negative; that’s reality. The question is, what will we leave behind when our time here is done?
I want to leave LAND. I want to leave KNOWLEDGE. I want to leave LIFE INSURANCE, financial education, ownership, and a legacy my children can build upon. I want them to have something they can call their own, something that can grow, and something they can pass down without having to start at zero.
I’m not talking about designer clothes, expensive cars, or material things that lose their value. I’m talking about the kind of wealth that creates opportunities. The kind of inheritance that gives your children a HEAD START instead of another mountain to climb.
Idk what everybody else is trying to do, but MY babies deserve the world! Not just the world they can buy, but the world they can build, own, protect, and leave to their own children. 🌎❤️
My baby starting high school has lit a whole new fire in me. It has reminded me that time is moving, my babies are growing, and I have work to do. I can’t just tell them to do better; I have to build better for them. I have to teach them what I know, learn what I don’t, and put things in place that will still benefit them long after I’m gone.
I don’t just want to raise successful children. I want to raise children who understand how to create generational wealth, preserve it, and multiply it.
I want my children’s children to have stories about the sacrifices I made, the lessons I taught, the land I left, and the foundation I built.
I want the generations after me to be able to say, “We didn’t have to start from nothing because somebody before us decided to start something.”
THAT is the legacy I’m working toward. That’s the generational cycle I’m determined to break. And by God’s grace, my bloodline will be better because I was here. ❤️🙏🏾
