Our lounge space is closed today, 3/21, and we will not be doing Basic Needs Kit pickups. We will temporarily extend the 5 day pickup deadline by one day. Regular services will resume on Monday, 3/24. Snacks and Calfresh services are still available.

Are you passionate about higher education and supporting parenting students? Join EdTrust-West’s Russlynn Ali Fellowship as the Parenting Student Success Fellow and contribute to meaningful policy change!

📌 Who: Current college students & recent graduates based in California
📅 When: June 16–August 22, 2025 (10 weeks)
🌍 Where: Remote, with in-person kick-off & closing programs in Oakland (June 17 & August 19)
💰 Compensation: $26/hr, full-time (37.5 hrs/week)
🔎 What You’ll Do: Collaborate with research & policy experts to develop an online dashboard for The California Alliance for Student Parent Success—helping students compare family-centered resources at public colleges & universities statewide.

In collaboration with Cal Coast Credit Union, we’re hosting the ‘Grow Your Finances’ workshop—a hands-on session to help you boost your budgeting skills and financial wellness. We’ve got tons of support to offer aside from the event, including Cal Fresh and Medi-Cal enrollment assistance, basic needs kits, free snacks, and a comfy lounge space.
