What can I say our Team is pretty amazing! Meet Jan Kammer - Mortgage Lending, I’ve known and worked with Jan for 12 years and feel extremely lucky we can call her a team mate! Jan specializes in our mortgage division. From VA Loans, to Investor, to some tougher FHA deals she will not disappoint! If there’s a way to do it Jan will make it happen, she fights hard for files she believes in and is known for working with clients ahead of time while they prepare to become home owners. In mortgage terms, an asset is anything that you own that has value. As part of the mortgage application process, you will be asked to provide a list of assets or things that hold substantial value. :writing_hand:
Some assets have a crystal clear value, like cash :money_with_wings: and stocks :chart_with_upwards_trend:. But you may have questions about the actual worth of some of your physical items, like your car, home or art. :eyes:
The prime way to find out the most current value of your items is to appoint an appraiser to review them and determine their value.

It’s cliche' advice, but it’s really, really good advice. And it’s all wrapped up in one little word (repeated three times, of course): LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! It’s true. Location is the #1 feature to consider when looking for a home. It outranks:⁣

-Square footage⁣
-Bed/bath count⁣
-Upgrades⁣
-Outdoor living areas⁣
-Neighborhood amenities⁣
⁣
Why? Two reasons: ⁣

-Because it's huge in determining your home’s value over time. You're likely better off down the road having an average house in a great location than having the best house in a less-in-demand location.⁣
-That 5-digit zip code isn't going to change. The kitchen? You can change that. Flooring? That too. But the address. Nope. That’s the same forever and always.⁣
