Remember that if you’re cold, your pets are cold too. Use these tips to help them stay warm and comfortable all winter long.
Be aware of how much time your pet is spending outside, and try to limit their exposure to the cold to fifteen to twenty minutes at a time.
Road salt and antifreeze are both toxic to cats and dogs, so wash your pet’s paws after walking down the street and keep chemicals out of reach.
Finally, bathing your dog can remove essential oils from their skin and fur that keep them moisturized, so try to keep baths to a minimum if possible.
