Today, we honor Juneteenth — a day that represents freedom delayed, but never denied.
It marks the moment in 1865 when the last enslaved people in Texas were finally informed of their freedom — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
This day is more than history.
It’s about truth.
It’s about honoring the struggle, celebrating the strength of our ancestors, and recognizing the work still left to do.
As a Black father, husband, and business owner, this day holds deep meaning for me.
It reminds me why I show up — not just to succeed, but to create opportunities.
Not just to provide, but to represent.
Not just to build wealth, but to build legacy.
Because true freedom isn’t just about what we break away from — it’s about what we build next.
So today, I reflect. I honor. I celebrate.
And I recommit to raising my kids with pride, doing business with integrity, and showing up in my community with purpose.
✊🏾 Happy Juneteenth. Let’s keep building forward — together.
