Owned by Nathaniel “Natt” Wise, Wise’s Barber Shop is a La Mesa barber shop that blends quality grooming, music, and community. With more than 15 years of experience, Natt opened his own shop in 2024 and now works alongside a team of longtime barber colleagues.

The shop offers classic cuts, clean fades, deluxe shaves, beard lineups, and hot towel services, while also creating a welcoming space where clients can connect, listen to music, and feel at home.

Meet Yesenia Peña Rosales, owner of LM6 Homemade Food, a home-based micro kitchen serving up authentic Mexican favorites across San Diego since 2022 🌮

Originally from Arcelia, Guerrero, Mexico, Yesenia brings traditional recipes to life using fresh, organic ingredients. The name LM6 is inspired by her children, a reflection of the family foundation behind everything she builds.

After flooding damaged her equipment in 2024, Yesenia faced a major setback. But she kept going. That same year, she completed the CDC LEEP program and even took first place in their pitch competition 👏

With funding support from Accessity, she was able to replace essential equipment and continue serving both her loyal customers and local restaurant partners.

She has also become a staff favorite for delicious food at staff gatherings!

From home kitchen to thriving storefront 🥯

Mike Rabinowitz, founder of , launched the business in 2022 as a cottage food operation. As demand grew, he expanded to a virtual kitchen and later opened a brick-and-mortar location in North Park at the end of last year.

Mike has more than 30 years of experience as a chemist and applies that background to his process and product consistency. The shop offers authentic bagels, house-made cream cheese spreads, and breakfast and deli-style sandwiches.

Accessity provided funding for the build-out of the space and initial inventory. We were also proud to be on with with Mike to share his story!
