There's little doubt that BNPL is on the rise in the payments sector across the United States, but is this the case for more expensive purchases? We surveyed 1,000 Americans in January 2022 to gauge their opinions on BNPL financing for dental and veterinary payments. Based on the sentiments of those surveyed, here are some of our key findings:

Dental:

-69% of Americans surveyed worry about future dental costs
-71% would regularly use BNPL over traditional payment methods when visiting the dentist
-Only 49% of dental patients surveyed have used loan financing for dental visits

Veterinary:

-Two-thirds of US pet owners worry about future veterinarian costs
-86% of pet owners would opt for BNPL over traditional payment methods
-Only 56% have used BNPL as a means for managing and paying for veterinarian expenses

Forrester Consulting investigated the challenges customers face with current, in-place account management practices, evaluating the role of buyer account management platforms in supporting buyer-supplier relationships.

The findings were significant.
