The City of Hemet is proud to announce the citywide expansion of the Kitchen Grant Program. Offering individual awards of up to $300,000, this initiative is a cornerstone of our commitment to modernizing commercial infrastructure and fostering a premier culinary and social landscape across the entire city.

This program provides the critical capital necessary for high-specification kitchen build-outs, specifically seeking to support:

Full-Service Restaurants: Elevating the local dining experience with flagship concepts.

Entertainment Venues: Integrating professional food service with live music, arts, and recreation.

Food Halls & Collaborative Markets: Creating multi-vendor culinary hubs and shared community spaces.

Upscale Boutique Grocers & Specialty Markets: Supporting fresh food access with professional-grade delis and prepared food infrastructure.

Craft Breweries, Distilleries & Tasting Rooms: Developing social anchors that pair local craft beverages with high-quality culinary offerings.

Strategic Program Details:
Maximum Funding: Up to $300,000 per project (Reimbursement-based)

Eligible Costs: Commercial infrastructure including hood systems, grease interceptors, advanced refrigeration, and specialized kitchen labor/materials.

Such a beautiful day to visit offices!!!! I love seeing my realtor peeps and meeting new realtors. I love to help were I can to elevate their business and show them many different programs for their buyers. So many realtors are being told their are no programs for our buyers.... THIS IS NOT TRUE!
