Maureen Brown is the President and Chief Operating Officer for The Exeter Group of Companies, including The Exeter Group, LLC, Exe
ter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC, Exeter Trust Company, Exeter Asset Services Corporation, Exeter IRA Services, LLC and their affiliate companies. Maureen is responsible for the over all management and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the 1031 Exchange Services Group, including the administration of Forward, Reverse and Improvement (Construction or Build-To-Suit) Tax-Deferred Exchange strategies and for the long-term strategic planning for the 1031 Exchange Services Group. She is also responsible for work-flow, system design and development for The Exeter Group of Companies. Brown previously held the position of Assistant Vice President and National 1031 Exchange Administration Manager of TransUnion Exchange Corporation (formerly Diversified Exchange Corporation) located in La Jolla, California. Prior to joining TransUnion Exchange Corporation (formerly Diversified Exchange Corporation), she served for eleven years with Chicago Title Company in title and escrow operations for residential, commercial and builder services business segments, as well as systems development and training. Maureen is involved with numerous professional organizations including the California Escrow Association (CEA), San Diego County Escrow Association (SDCEA), Nor-Cal Escrow Association, AIR Commercial Real Estate Association (AIR), and the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA).
