I have been in real estate and mortgage for almost 20 years, and anyone who knows economics and the housing industry, understands it's a tumultuous time economically. So you may have questions in regards to mortgages, or buying a home.
The mortgage process can be overwhelming if you don't understand the process, the options you have, etc, and unfortunately there are a lot of loan officers and brokers out there who simply are looking for their next commission, and lose site of the customer. I am not one of those people. I moved from real estate to mortgage in 2009 because of an unscrupulous broker who got me and my family into a loan that ended up costing us our home and our life savings. After losing our home, I made the move because I wanted to educate myself on everything to do with mortgages, so I could educate and help others. That way, no one I worked with would ever have to go through the home buying or refinancing process without feeling they had someone on their side. And I would originate a loan for someone who wouldn't benefit from the mortgage.
I work with my clients to make sure that not only do they understand their options, but also that I recommend the best solutions for their unique needs. I also walk them through the process of what to expect from start to finish. Helping people with the biggest transactions of their lives is such a wonderful feeling, and knowing they have the education and support they need, is my motivation each day.
