Sincere thanks to everyone I've spoke with and those who commented on my recent posts.

Financial Advisors / Planners are very important and well needed. They rightfully get paid for investing or helping with planning, not for coaching or helping clients with their emotions and knowledge or lack thereof. That is why I am so passionate about helping women as the piece between them and their advisors.

I do take the time to make sure you have comfortable knowledge with what you are already doing with your money and talk thru what life you'd love for the future. We also go into the emotions around money, which is a whole post for another day.

Even though I have helped many women manage their money and finances, I know what it’s like to struggle with embarrassment, doubt and avoidance around taking charge of money and building the life you want.

Because years ago, that struggle was real for me. I know what it’s like to wake up and be consumed with anxiety and uncertainty about money and the future. And to lay down at night thinking about how you were going to pay your bills and/or build the life you want.

It got so bad that I felt like an imposter and thought about throwing all the years of experience and obtaining licenses away and change to a different career.

So, I know how painful it can be. And, I know what it’s like to be on the other side of it.

I realized I was living in the past with old scarcity thoughts so, I changed to living in the present where I wake up to certainty and a feeling of abundance, and good about my money decisions.

I go to bed at night thinking about how fortunate I am to have changed to the mindset of abundance, knowing I have everything I need for the life I want to live.

The best part is I am living my dream life and, I want this kind of life for everyone!

That’s why I help women overcome the emotional side of money along with women-centric financial education.

Even though there’s a part of me that thinks I’m sharing too much about my life’s work this week (as I shared earlier, I’m in a 5-Day challenge...) my deeper truth is that I care way too much about helping women have confidence and clarity around money to let that fear stop me.

Because I know how painful it can be when you have uncertainty, are embarrassed or fear about your money and finances. And, I have dedicated myself to helping ALL the women I can have financial confidence and independence.

The Fear That’s Been Holding Me Back and How I’m Overcoming It in 2024

I have a confession to make. Even though I’ve been a licensed financial advisor almost 20 years, I have to admit that I’ve been playing small and not yet making the impact I know that I’m here to make.

Because I’ve transitioned to coaching women on finances and concerned about what people would think, I haven’t shared much about my story and why I’m so passionate about coaching.

But that changes this week! I've joined Thrive Academy’s 5-Day Challenge to support me to be more VISIBLE and share more of my story with you…

Because I know that there are a lot of women I could help, especially those divorced or widowed, who weren’t taught how to manage their finances and have uncertainty and probably some anxiety and I know they want a safe, friendly and non-judgmental place where they can be vulnerable and empowered.
