Esparza Medicare Insurance is now EMI Insurance Group.

While our name has changed, our commitment to serving you with honest, local Medicare and life insurance guidance remains the same.

Medicare Update: New Program Starting July 1, 2026

CMS has announced a new temporary Medicare program that begins July 1, 2026, involving certain weight loss medications like Wegovy and Zepbound.

Here’s what to know:
• Runs July 1 – December 31, 2026
• Not part of standard Medicare drug plans
• Eligibility is limited and requires approval
• Your doctor must submit a prior authorization
• Medicare (not your plan) determines eligibility
