I’ve recently had to admit that I have some clients that are not worth having. No matter how much I help them, answer their questions, or try to accommodate them, it’s simply not enough. It’s OKAY to walk away for the sake of your peace and mental state. Parting from clients isn’t always easy but sometimes necessary.

If you have a client that is causing you stress, simply let them know that it seems you may not be the right agent, stylist, mechanic, fill in the blank with whatever it is you do, to continue to serve them. Make several recommendations for them of other people that may better serve their needs. Even in business, sometimes you just don’t have chemistry with your clients.

It’s okay to fire a client.
