Career Day at Hawthorne Academy, SAISD! 📚

Our Financial Center Manager, Marelee, had an amazing time connecting with students in grades 2–5 during Career Day! She shared what it’s like to be a manager, how credit unions help members save, grow, and protect their money, and why smart financial choices matter early on.

The students got hands-on by practicing basic counting, filling out mock deposit slips, and setting personal savings goals, plus they asked some great questions along the way!

Thank you, Hawthorne Academy, for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to help inspire the next generation to see financial literacy as both a life skill and a potential career path. 🌟💰
