Being in the oil and gas business I can tell you that the shut down of the keystone was just the first missile this administration fired at the oil industry. The stoppage of new drilling permits on federal lands and waters, the escalation of EPA and SEC regulations that put a foot on our necks and probably the very worst thing of all, if the above wasn’t enough, is the message that the Administration sent to investment capital sources to defund the industry. Sound familiar? And the same horrible result too.
It’s a wonder any new wells get drilled at all.
Now the Biden Admin is begging Muslim and communist despots and the very enemies of our country to increase their production to pump up oil supply. A supply that they themselves crushed from the market. They do this ridiculous and dangerous thing instead of just coming to the US Oil and Gas Producers hat in hand and say, ‘we got this wrong and what can we do to help make it work again?’
No, it’s too hard for ignorant and arrogant people to admit they are wrong. So, nobody here is holding their breath.
But we will put our shoulders to it and once again make the US energy independent and protect our National Security because that’s who oil industry people are.
An insider saying we all used to utter with pride “oil field trash and damn proud of it”!
