As well, we do sell health insurance through various providers under the affordable health care act, Medicare, and Medicare supplements. My business partner and myself come to the insurance industry after spending 20 years in the hospitality industry. Hi Everyone!
I have been hosting international exchange students since 2016, and it has been an absolute blast! I have learned so much, shared our culture, and made unforgettable memories together. It's been such a rewarding experience for me, extended family, and friends, and we have loved the connections we've made with these brave teens and their families around the world.
I am also a coordinator for the program, EF Exchange Year, and I'm always looking for volunteers who are interested in opening their hearts and home to exchange students!
What are the requirements: Must be at least, 25, able to provide room & meals, and able to pass a background check.

It is less than three weeks from when the first of the Class of 2025 students arrive to the United States! Welcome Days and Camp program students are packing their bags and are ready for their exchange adventure to begin... As of today, we have 225 super AMAZING STUDENTS who are waiting for that phone call to tell them that THEY HAVE A HOST FAMILY and where they will be spending their next school year.

The BEST host families are the ones who host for the right reasons and are willing to OPEN their home and their HEART to this incredible experience. Message me today for more information on welcoming your new exchange son or daughter in to your home💙💚❤️

We need your help!! We are currently looking to still place 318 students for the fall semester. Of those, 40 students must be placed by 6/30 to attend camp.

Unfortunately, if we don’t find host families soon, several of these students will not be able to go on exchange and make his/her dream come true 🥲

Why Host an Exchange Student? 🤷‍♀️

When you host an exchange student, you're doing more than making his or her dream come true. As a host family, you also:

🌎 Increase the mutual understanding between people of different cultures

If you are currently a client of McLaughlin Farmers Insurance Group, you will be getting this letter in the mail in next few days.

After a lot of discussions, David and I decided to sell the agency. This will be effective on 1/31/23.

The good news is that we have sold to some good friends, Matt and Vivian Metzger, AND David will be joining their team as a full time producer. I will also be staying on as a part time/as needed producer as well. Meaning you aren't getting rid of us that easily.

Thanks to all that are, have been, or have supported our journey. We appreciate you!!!

As many of you know, David and I were good friends several years before opening the insurance agency. In that time, we have grown to love one another's family like our own.

Last Friday, we lost a special person to us to his long battle with cancer. Leo was David's brother n law and a dear friend to me.

He supported the both of us in all our adventures including Insurance Agency, Moose Lodge, Tupperware, and foreign exchange.

He celebrated milestones/holidays with us. Two weeks ago, he was to be celebrating my birthday with me (he had not missed one ,minus 2020, in several years).

The joke was he was really my best friend, not David, because they would send me to ask him stuff because he would not tell me no. :)

We will miss our brother /friend dearly but until we meet again, we will cherish the memories we made together
