💚Oftentimes we like to scrutinize people not knowing what it took for that person to get to that point in their journey. Perspective can make you lucky because having a deeper understanding of the suffering of others can bring you out of the spectrum of making false judgments and assumptions. 🌱
🍀Today we celebrate the luck of the Irish on Saint Patrick’s Day- a saint who had little faith in his youth. It was after his kidnapping and abuse of 6 years that he was called into his spiritual duties as a saint. He believed that the ignorance of his youth afforded him the opportunity to grow and obtain grace through prayer. His captors were Irish pirates and his mission became to convert his enslavers. The driving purpose that befell him in his lifetime influenced Irish religion and culture as we know it today. 😇
