Carroll Payne worked closely with the families of several crew members killed in an aircraft accident. Saddened by the survivors’ financial difficulties, and eager to help other military families effectively prepare for their financial futures, Lt. Payne began laying the groundwork for the company that would become First Command. Today, First Command Financial Services and its subsidiaries, including First Command Financial Planning, Inc., First Command Insurance Services, Inc., and First Command Bank, assist American families in their efforts to reduce debt, build wealth, and confidently pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams. Through knowledgeable advice and coaching of the financial behaviors conducive to success, First Command Financial Advisors have built trustworthy, lasting relationships with hundreds of thousands of client families since 1958.
