Before breaking into the mortgage industry, Shawna obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and ran an animal rescue organization for 10 years, where she still actively volunteers. Giving back to the community, Shawna has been an active member with the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Medical Committee since 2007, and she is now one of five directors. In her free time, Shawna likes to do anything outside – riding horses, doing yard work, going on hikes on the trails, visiting Sea World or basically being anywhere near water during the summer.
