Seven years is an incredible milestone, and today we celebrate Salina and Kim.

For seven years, they’ve been the definition of loyalty, commitment, and consistency. Through every season, they’ve shown up with integrity, cared deeply for our customers, helped build our team, and made a lasting impact on everyone around them.

They’ve celebrated victories, worked through challenges, solved countless problems, and quietly made a difference in ways that often go unseen.

Their impact isn’t measured simply by the years they’ve been here. It’s measured by the lives they’ve touched, the trust they’ve earned, and the example they set every single day.

Salina and Kim, thank you for seven years of dedication, friendship, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Team Villa is stronger because of you, and we are all better because we’ve had the privilege of growing alongside you.

It’s Thursday.

Not Monday, when motivation is high.
Not Friday, when the weekend is in sight.

Just Thursday.

I’ve come to believe that’s where culture is built.

It’s built in the way you greet people.
The way you respond when something goes wrong.
The promises you keep.
The conversations no one else sees.
The standards you choose to uphold when there’s no recognition waiting on the other side.

Those moments rarely get celebrated, but they’re the ones that shape a business.

Over the past year, we’ve made a conscious commitment to raise our standard, not because anyone asked us to, but because we believe the people we serve deserve our very best.

What makes me the proudest isn’t the commitment itself. It’s watching my team embrace it.

Investing in Our Community Starts with Investing in People.

One of the greatest privileges of owning a local business is having the opportunity to invest in the next generation.

This summer, Team Villa is proud to welcome Ayden and Linley to our inaugural Summer Marketing Internship Program.

Over the coming weeks, they’ll gain hands-on experience in marketing, branding, customer engagement, content creation, and what it takes to help grow a small business. My hope is that they leave this experience with practical skills, greater confidence, meaningful mentorship, and a clearer vision for what’s possible in their future.

I believe some of life’s greatest lessons happen outside the classroom, and as business owners, we have a responsibility to help open doors for those who are eager to learn.

Because investing in our community starts with investing in people. We believe strong communities are built by investing in future leaders, one opportunity at a time.

How you start your day matters.

Somewhere along the way, my “why” changed… and so did the way I define success.

I’ve evolved from chasing a number on the scale or trying to look a certain way to building the strength, discipline, and clarity that help me become a better leader, mom, wife, friend, and business owner.

Before the emails, meetings, and everything else the day brings, I try to spend time taking care of myself spiritually, mentally, and physically. Those quiet moments help me reset, gain perspective, and start the day with intention instead of simply reacting to it.

It reminds me of the instructions you hear on an airplane: Put your own oxygen mask on first.

Not because you’re putting yourself ahead of everyone else, but because you’re in a better position to help the people who depend on you.

Life works the same way.

When we invest in ourselves, everyone around us benefits. We show up with more patience, more energy, more clarity, and more purpose.

Our families feel it.
Our teams feel it.
The people we serve feel it.

So before you give your best to everyone else today, make sure you’ve given a little time to yourself first.

Your morning doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to prepare you for the day ahead.
