Please do not ever give personal information to ANYONE over the phone, especially account number or debit/credit card numbers. If you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to come by or call our office. We are more than happy to assist you in any way we can. We’re here to help our members.

Scammers are still at it. We have received several calls informing us that citizens are receiving phone calls asking for money for fines for people not showing up to court or to get loved ones out of jail. The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office nor the Tom Green Detention Center will NEVER call and ask for money. If you receive a call please DO NOT provide the caller any money or banking information. Just hang up! Sometimes they will ask to send money in form of a gift card. Please forward this information to your loved ones who may not have access to Facebook/social media.
