Sylvia Castillo, our branch clerk at our Ballinger office located in Ballinger, Texas, has been chosen as Employee of the Quarter. Sylvia started with 1st Community in March of 2023 as a branch clerk. Sylvia assists members with both teller and member services, she is also able to bring an additional service with her bilingual abilities. She enjoys working alongside her colleagues Cheryl, Kellye and Jennifer in Ballinger but is tremendously grateful for all her colleagues within the credit union whom are very forthcoming to lend a hand no matter the case to best serve our members. Sylvia strides to make the best of any situation and place a smile on faces with those she encounters. During her time off; Sylvia enjoys spending time with her family, her two young children Damian and Adeline and her husband Stevie, but can’t forget their pet goat, Baby Goat. Congratulations, Sylvia!
