Fall is starting to peek around the corner, and Salt Lake City has plenty to put on the family calendar over the next two weeks. 🍂
Saturday, Sept 5: Afro Utah Festival at the Salt Lake City Public Library. Enjoy music, dance, food, fashion, art, and family activities. Admission is free, but you need to reserve a ticket for each person in your family: https://afroutah.org/tickets
Thursday, Sept 10: The annual Utah State Fair opens at Utah State Fairpark, with rides, livestock, fair food, shows, and plenty to explore for children. The fair continues through Sept. 20: https://www.utahstatefair.com/events/2026/utah-state-fair
Friday-Sunday, Sept 11-13: The Salt Lake City Greek Festival celebrates its 50th year at Holy Trinity Cathedral with yummy Greek food, live music, and traditional folk dancing. This is a great opportunity for children to learn about other cultures: https://www.saltlakecitygreekfestival.com/
Saturday, Sept 12: SLC VegFest brings free family fun to Library Square from noon to 8 p.m., including local food, live music, face painting, bounce houses, and a large kids area: https://slcveg.com/
