This article suggests that we will see a rebound in real estate in the second half of 2023. Many factors are at play, but I generally agree with their prediction. Just because interest rates have increased and fewer people are buying houses right now does not mean the housing shortage has gone away. Right now, home buyers are not getting into bidding wars and are able to ask for concessions. If you are on the fence about buying a house, the next couple of months could be a great time to buy.
