At our quarterly luncheons, we cover the ins and outs of all types of investment including real estate, stocks, retirement accounts, and other investment modalities such as cryptocurrency and precious metals. I want to tell you why I started this club.

It wasn't because I had all the answers. It was because I kept sitting in rooms where I had questions I was too embarrassed to ask out loud, and I had a feeling I wasn't the only one. I was right. Almost every woman I talk to has a version of that same story: a moment where she nodded along instead of asking, because she didn't want to be the one who "didn't already know."

Utah Women's Investing Club exists so that we don't have to do that anymore.

Our next lunch, "Which DD Room Are You In? Not All Due Diligence Is Built the Same," is happening on October 2. Tomi Lynn Smith (25+ years building and evaluating companies) and Sue Crismon (attorney, founder, and legal strategist) are joining us to break down due diligence in plain English, whether you're looking at your first investment, evaluating a small business, or buying a home.

Here's what I really want, though: I don't just want you there. I want you there with someone.
