๐จ Public Safety Announcement โ Statewide Burn Ban ๐จ
The North Carolina Forest Service has issued a statewide burn ban across North Carolina due to increased fire danger conditions.
๐ฅ What This Means:
All open burning is prohibited until further notice
This includes yard debris, brush piles, and any outdoor burning without proper containment
Campfires may also be restricted depending on conditions
๐ฌ๏ธ Why This Matters:

๐ฎโโ๏ธ Enforcement:
The Wilkes County Sheriffโs Office will be working alongside local fire departments and state officials to ensure compliance. Violations of the burn ban may result in fines and legal action.
