Gleaners has many locations this week for free food.

❗The distribution at Christ the King Church on Friday, 9/4, is canceled.
❗The distribution at Oakland County Health Department on Thursday, 9/3, is canceled.
❗The distribution at Lasky Recreation Center on Wednesday, 9/2, is canceled.
❗The distribution at Western International High School on Wednesday, 9/2, is canceled.
❗The distribution at Patton Recreation Center on Wednesday, 9/2, is canceled.

Gleaners is hosting drive-up food distributions this week, which are free and open to the public. Anyone in need of food is encouraged to attend and will receive over 35 pounds of nutritious groceries, like milk, fresh fruit, vegetables, lean protein, and other shelf-stable items while supplies last.

And all through the house,
The backpacks were packed,
The outfits were out,

The school supplies were ready,
The shoes were lined by the door,
And kids were wondering…
“Wait…is there summer no more?😳

Tomorrow brings new classrooms, new teachers, new friends, new adventures and maybe a few first-day butterflies. 🦋❤️
