Standstill at Kennecott, Geneva and Tintic — Bishop Koyle said before the mine would come in that Kennecott Copper, Geneva Steel and the Tintic mining district would come to a standstill. In 1985, records show that all three occurred at the same time. Of course, Geneva no longer exists now and Kennecott suffered a devastating landslide a few years ago.

The Water Ditch — Bishop Koyle instructed workers to build a small ditch that would be big enough to carry the water they would find. The miners dug the ditch, and at the exact distance described by the Bishop, they hit the water that just filled the ditch.
