Some conversations are easier to have before they become personal.

If your future successors are unmarried and plan to return to the family operation, consider discussing whether a prenuptial agreement will be an expectation. While it may seem premature, setting clear expectations early can help protect the business and avoid difficult conversations later.

Planning ahead today can help preserve both the farm and family relationships for generations to come.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Marion County Farm Bureau Summer Meet-Up at the Marion County Fair!

It was wonderful to catch up with familiar faces, meet new members, and spend an afternoon celebrating Ag Day together. We appreciate everyone who took the time to stop by The Woods and enjoy good food, great conversations, and a little summer fun.

Take a break from the summer sun and join fellow Marion County Farm Bureau members for cold drinks, snacks, and great conversation at The Woods before heading over to the Jr. Livestock Auction and Saturday night’s Main Stage concerts featuring Justin Lawrence and Casey Donahew.
