🎁In the last year, CHS provided 12,227 nights of shelter to survivors and their children—three times as many nights of shelter than the same time last year.
🎁The need for shelter and other resources continues to grow, and CHS is working hard to meet the needs of some of the most vulnerable families in our community.

Yesterday was a good day! I'm honored to be a part of something so wonderful as a member of the Board of Directors & a victims advocate for the Center for Hope & Safety.
Yesterday was such a beautiful Groundbreaking Ceremony for HOPE PLAZA, another dream come true for the Center!
Hope Plaza will offer 20 units of housing and business space which will offer resources and job training for survivors of sexual & domestic violence.
When a victim has taken the first, most important step to safety, which is to seek help...they will tell you, housing and having the tools to rebuild their life is one of the biggest barriers they face.
Hope Plaza will provide survivors the opportunity to focus on healing and starting over without the financial burden.
A project near and dear to my heart, I can't wait to see the progress of Hope Plaza, but more importantly, I cannot wait to watch it serve our community in such an important way!

Pretty content with the way I spent my weekend! First tourney of the season and already craving the next!
Cheering on my boys while pre-approving 2 new clients and a 3rd had their offer accepted!!!

🍒There are two main types of cherries produced in the United States: sweet cherries and tart cherries. Oregon is currently the third highest producer of sweet cherries in the nation, supplying 11 percent of the U.S. market. The warm days and cool nights in the Pacific Northwest make for an ideal growing season.
I wish I wasn't allergic to cherries!
