Grant Neighborhood Association Located at the north end of downtown Salem, Grant Neighborhood borders the Capitol Mall and encompasses a beautiful, historic part of Salem.

Grant Neighborhood is the north gateway to Oregon's Capitol Mall. Located at the north end of downtown Salem, it borders the Mall and encompasses a beautiful, historic part of Salem. Nearly all of our homes and buildings date to between about 1900 and 1940. We have one neighborhood park, Grant Park which is adjacent to Grant Community School. Grant Community School is a dual language immersion school and the only Kindergarten through 8th grade public school in Salem. Our neighborhood boasts about 150 businesses, six churches, numerous historic buildings, and about 1275 households. The Grant Neighborhood Association was founded February 2, 1976 and encompasses the smallest area of any of the nineteen Salem Neighborhoods.

Visit www.cityofsalem.net/Highland to learn about the association and connect with the board. Did you know this is one of several events that your neighbors coordinate and are volunteers? They do it for the love of community.

First 100 Grant and Highland members will get tickets to FREE food supplied by Better Than Mamas and Gurshas restaurants. Just visit the check-in table and tell them your address.

Bring your redeemable cans and bottles to support North High Bands. Meet the kids who make the music.

Also, local historians will answer questions about Grant & Highland neighborhoods. 50 Years! You can be that a lot went down during that time.
