Our last tale concerns a would-be homeowner who, excited to move into her dream house, decided to throw a massive going-away party—complete with fog machines, fortune-tellers, and goblets overflowing with grape punch. She spent thousands in one weekend, draining her savings with wild abandon.
But when the lender checked her account, the gory sight left them speechless! Her account balance had dropped faster than a vampire at sunrise, and the lender wasn’t too happy. Remember: before that loan closes, keep your money close. Lenders don't want surprises from accounts that look like they've seen a poltergeist!
