Nya:weh to the Allegany Summer Leadership Program for inviting SNIEDC to present our Financial Literacy Training and Spendy Frenzy!

As these young participants begin their employment journeys, they learned key financial skills including banking, budgeting, saving, and understanding credit. To put their knowledge to the test, teams "Bin Boys," "Monsters," "NPC's," and "Blue Crush" competed through interactive activities and financial literacy trivia for the chance to win gift cards. Participants also took part in Spending Frenzy, our financial simulation designed to prepare Native youth for managing a minor's trust distribution. The first participant to complete all spending objectives and balance their Money Log won a $50 gift card.

We're proud to help equip our youth with the financial knowledge and confidence they'll carry into the future. Congratulations to all who participated, and we wish you the very best as you begin your financial journey!
