🚨 Big News for Investors (and especially women in finance & tech):

The U.S. House just passed a bill over the summer that could completely change how people qualify as accredited investors.

Until now, you basically needed a fat bank account or high income to get access to private investments — including private AI funds. That system shut out a lot of smart, capable people (especially women and underrepresented groups) who didn’t happen to be sitting on generational wealth.

Here’s what’s changing:

✅ A FINRA-administered exam will allow anyone to test in as an accredited investor.

✅ The focus shifts from wealth → knowledge.

✅ It opens doors to private equity, venture capital, and AI investment opportunities that were once gated off.

✅ The exam will be free and designed to test financial literacy, risk awareness, and sophistication — not your ability to hire a private banker.

Why it matters:

This is a huge step toward equity. Women (and many others) have historically been locked out of private markets due to income and net worth disparities. Now, brains can count just as much as bank accounts.

👉 If the Senate follows through, this could be a game-changer for who gets to invest in the future of AI, tech, and beyond.

Knowledge is about to buy a seat at the table.
