It’s Black History month and we are doing a variety of activities to celebrate the month.

We kicked it off by inviting our associates to wear something that connected Black History month to them. Whether it was Dashiki clothing or simply a t-shirt with a quote or famous Black American on it.

Here is an example of some of the items worn by our associates. We are looking forward to more great Black History month activities over the next couple of weeks.

We had our annual Meridian holiday party and this year we did something really different. We had a Hands on Holiday Party. It started with intereactive activities of painting and clay molding and then dinner, music and dancing for the rest of the evening.

Our fourth quarter initiative is a celebration of our core value Act Selflessly…Give Generously. In that spirit, as well as the spirit of the holiday season, we partnered with Metropolitan Ministries for their annual food drive. As our Meridian staff is a bit competitive (in a good way) they went all out this year collecting all kinds of food for the drive.

Once Metropolitan Ministries picked up the food they told us we collected an estimated 1,800-2,000 pounds of food! WOW! Our associates really live out our core values.

The TBBJ's annual People First honors excellence in human resource professionals. The 2018 honorees will be celebrated at this year's luncheon event at Westin Tampa Waterside Dec. 6.

Every year we celebrate Thanksgiving with the annual Meridian Thanksgiving Potluck. Meridian provides the main dish and associates bring in all the fixins.

It’s a great way to take a break, socialize with each other and realize how fortunate we are to work for such a great company.

At Meridian we truly believe in living by our Core Values. One of those Core Values is Act Selflessly…Give Generously. Some of our Meridianite family did just that recently by partnering with the Pinellas Habitat for Humanity for their Paint the Block event.

The group helped out by painting the entire exterior of the home, as well as doing some yard clean up.

It is great working for a company that wholeheartedly embraces, and believes in, giving back to the community

MAS-O-Ween 2018
This has become a huge event here at Meridian and every year it seems to get bigger.

This year's theme was Music and the teams went all out. Everything from Thriller to Apples, Peaches and Pumkin Pie, for those of you who may know or remember that song.

Thanks to all the departments for all of your amazing work this year. You truly outdid yourselves.
