This morning was one of those good reminders that some of the best things happening in our area are being built quietly, consistently, and by people who really care.

I attended 1 Million Cups Mankato and had the chance to hear from Crystal McCue with Options Mankato and Tim Murray with Bravo Zulu House.

Crystal shared the work Options Mankato is doing to support individuals and families in our community, and Tim talked about the mission behind Bravo Zulu House and the impact it can have for veterans.

Two very different organizations, but both rooted in service, purpose, and making life better for people right here in southern Minnesota.

Grateful for the people willing to lead, share their story, and keep pushing good things forward in our community.

Stopped by Tommy's Malt Shop in Shakopee today and the food was fantastic! I had no idea there was a huge water park right next door. Definitely coming back with the kids next time!
