HASA Hmong Alumni Student Association is dedicated to helping students in financial need so they can achieve higher education.

What Success Looks Like:
The younger Hmong generation would have a broader world view, has a richer understanding and appreciation for the Hmong culture, and is more tolerant of differences within the Hmong, as a result of studying abroad in Southeast Asia. We envision HASA scholars as responsible and respectful members of the Hmong community whose mindfulness of the complexities of identity and culture enable them to successfully create value, everywhere.

Congratulations to one of our selected recipients, Belinda Lee!

"Belinda Lee is from St. Paul, Minnesota. She will be graduating in May of 2016 from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Travel and Tourism and a minor in Management. Her bubbly and positive personality led her to pursue her dream job to work on cruise ships and travel the seas- exploring the depths of wonder. Belinda has traveled to Asia a number of times, including China, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, and Singapore. She has also been to various provinces in Canada as well. In addition to traveling the world, Belinda hopes to inspire others to travel and find adventure along the way."
