Thank you to everyone who joined us at Grand Old Day Grand Avenue on Sunday! There’s nothing better than seeing our community come together on Grand Avenue.

The BankCherokee team had a blast cheering on the Wiener Dog Races and supporting the Pet Pavillion. A special shoutout to our very own Carrie Frost for doing such an outstanding job as emcee. She kept the energy high and had the crowd smiling.

Bring them to BankCherokee’s annual Shred with Purpose event on Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. at our Smith Avenue branch.

This free, drive-through event helps you safely dispose of confidential documents while supporting neighbors facing food insecurity right here in our community.

We’re partnering with Shred Right for secure shredding and FINNEGANS Reverse Food Truck to collect food and cash donations benefiting The Food Group and local food shelves.

Here’s how it works:
📄 Bring up to 3 grocery bags or file boxes of documents you no longer need
🚗 Drive through and watch your papers get securely shredded
🥫 Donate non-perishable food items or cash if you’re able

A little decluttering can go a long way. We hope to see you there!
