Champaign County has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications.

Due to the icy and foggy conditions, we will be delayed in opening this morning. We hope to be open by 10, but will continue to monitor conditions and will make adjustments if necessary to avoid unsafe conditions.

We encourage you to be safe should you need to be out moving around this morning.

Beyond excited is a great description as we introduce you to our newest team member - Amanda Evans!

Amanda is a caring, creative, people focused, and diligent professional who thrives on helping others find success personally and professionally. Growing up, she helped on the family farm baling hay, playing with kittens, caring for the family dog, and feeding baby lambs and calves, and she is excited to return to the farming community where she was raised and to join the team at Tri-County Insurance Services LLC. Amanda is a member of Northwest Presbyterian Church and where she serves on the Worship Team and in Women’s Ministry. She has also been passionate volunteer working in to foster the arts and to further age-friendly living initiatives. Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, sewing, knitting, and trying out new recipes in her free time. When she lived in the Akron area, Amanda enjoyed singing with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and was able to sing at the following venues: Carnegie Hall in New York City, New York; Severance Hall in Cleveland, OH; Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, OH; Arsht Center’s Knight Concert Hall in Miami, Florida; Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall in Manhatten, New York; Alte Oper in Frankfurt, Germany; The Salle Pleyel in Paris, France; and the Philharmonie in Luxembourg.

Amanda is the daughter of our founders - Fred & Janet Evans; and sister of current owner Justin Evans. After 20 years away, it is GREAT to have Amanda back in Champaign County!

With Amanda’s background in agriculture, experience in working in academic and public libraries, we are thrilled to have her as part of our team!

Come to St. Paris today 11-1 for a great lunch with some homemade ice cream! The Champaign County Habitat for Humanity is working right across from the food trailer so come and learn more about the great work they do for the community!
