*Big news for buyers* Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have announced changes to LLPAs (Conventional Loan fees), going into effect May 1, 2023. First-time homebuyers who meet income requirements are most likely to benefit: “https://tinyurl.com/43y5c6us?lo=Craig-Winston”

In a nutshell: Conventional Loan fees have been reduced for some lower FICO scores and waived altogether if a buyer earns under a certain income threshold. This means that rates could be better than they were before the change. Contact me to find out if your clients benefit.

Great news for homebuyers: We’re shifting out of a seller’s market, so asking a seller to pay part of your closing costs (also called seller concessions) is once again possible. If you're buying a house, this means that: 1. Asking a seller to pay closing costs and other expenses could help lighten your loan in a buyer’s market. 2. A seller may offer to pay some of your closing costs to close the deal, reducing the amount of cash you need to purchase. 3.
