Metco Industries, Inc. was created on January 1, 1982 in St. Marys, Pennsylvania, the "Powder Metal Capital of the World", with one press, a furnace and a tumbler. Our founders felt there was a need for a quality P/M facility both attentive and flexible to customers' ever changing requirements. Thus Metco began to manufacture and supply quality P/M parts to the OEM and other commercial end users o

f bushings, bearings, gears and other structural components. Over the past 30+ years Metco Industries has grown from a simple one-press shop to a modern 109,000 square foot facility employing over 200 people. Corporate Values-

We were excited to have Brandy Camp Creamery visit Metco today to provide a well-deserved end-of-summer treat for our employees!

Our team’s continued hard work, dedication, and commitment are what keep Metco moving forward and growing stronger every day. We’re proud of the people who make that growth possible and grateful for everything they do.

⚙️ 2,000 SAFE DAYS. Built one shift, one decision, and one person at a time. ⚙️

In manufacturing, we measure everything- quality, production, efficiency, uptime, scrap, and performance.

But some numbers mean more than others.

2,000 SAFE DAYS is one of them.

And while this photo captures a few of the faces behind this milestone, it represents only a fraction of the people who made it possible.

Across every department. Every machine. Every shift. Every role.

There are hundreds of thousands of individual decisions behind a milestone like this.

⚙️ Following the process when nobody is watching.
⚙️ Stopping when something doesn’t look right.
⚙️ Looking out for the person working beside you.

One of Metco’s favorite events of the year…. Teachers in the workplace!

We get to share our passion for manufacturing and the important role we play within our community. Which in turn allows the teachers to excite this same passion in our young students. This helps them understand what windows may open for them locally as they plan for their future.

Local manufacturing is more than running machines. It provides great careers opportunities, long term employment, and the pathway for creativity, inventions, and advancing technologies. Metco takes great pride in our community and the opportunities we are able to provide.

However, our impact extends far beyond this area. Annually, Metco produces over 60 million powder metal components which are shipped to customers around the globe.

We are grateful for our school system and their vision of increasing understanding between our youth and local industrial opportunities. Metco would like to thank each of the teachers for taking time out of their summer to spend with us! We feel it is one of the most impactful events we can offer our future community leaders.
