Welcome to The Lodge! This is what we call our family room: the room we spend all of our time. We puzzle, watch movies, illegally jump on the couch, and play with Christmas decorations in this room. Check out one of our first renos: a spacious, bright, and cozy basement! One of our goals in renovations is to maximize space, especially when it's a little tight to begin with. In this small-ish basement, we created a TV/lounge space, a snack bar with beverage fridge, and an open play area for the littles. Not pictured: the wall used for a built in office area, and a guest room/bathroom. Careful planning can make all your ideas fit!
