🚨 BIG MEDICARE CHANGES ARE COMING FOR 2027! 🚨

If you currently have a Medicare Advantage Plan, this is a year you do NOT want to simply assume your coverage will stay the same. We are seeing significant changes heading into 2027, and some Medicare Advantage plans may no longer be available in certain areas. Other plans may have changes to their:

• Monthly premiums
• Copays and deductibles
• Prescription drug coverage
• Doctor and hospital networks
• Dental, vision and hearing benefits
• Over-the-counter (OTC) benefits
• Additional supplemental benefits

We will be closing the office Monday so we can enjoy one last day of summer with our kids and grandkids. We hope you all have had a wonderful summer! We are seeing very high increases on our Medicare Supplement policies. The average increase for this year is 22-40%! Ever since I started my insurance agency, we were used to 8-10%.
The reason is the high number of Medicare beneficiaries using Medicare and the cost of care. As a broker, we are paid 11-20% commission on the original premium. We are not paid additional commission everytime you get an increase. We feel it is our job to look at all of your options and make sure we are doing our best to find the best price and coverage for you. A lot of our customers are past their Missouri Anniversary month, so we are having them come in and fill out an application using underwriting review. This involves answering the health questions, listing your medications and doctors, and allowing the company to review your health history. We have had a lot of success helping our customers find a better option for a lower cost. We cannot guarantee that you will qualify, but it is always worth trying. With everything increasing in cost, any item that will remain the same, or lower is a plus.

McKay is MOVING!! 📦

Why rent when we can buy?! We are deepening our roots here in St. Joseph with the opportunity to invest further into this town!

Our office will be relocating a building over to Building B - Suite 201. We will be open for business in our current office (Building A Suite 100) through May 28th. Our new office will be opening June 1st! Stop by and say Hi! Watch for an Open House date to come!
