🎉 MEET THE TEAM… well, sort of.

Normally, she’s the one creating the Meet the Team posts. She’s behind the captions, the content, and occasionally spending four hours on a post only to have me ask her to change “grandma” to “grandmother.” 😂

But today, the tables have turned.

Meet Sydney — the person behind BMSF social media. ❤️

Sydney originally joined BMSF in 2019 as an Account Representative. Fast forward to 2026, and she’s back — this time as our Social Media Manager. (She’s VERY proud of the “Manager” part. 😂)

What makes Sydney so good at what she does is that she doesn’t just understand social media — she understands BMSF. She knows insurance, she knows our team, she knows our heart, and after all these years, she definitely knows me… which may be the hardest part of the job. 😂

When I asked her why she came back, her answer was simple:

“You.”

She followed it with, “My life is just better with you in it.”

Well, Syd… mine is better with you in it, too. ❤️

We’ve grown a lot since 2019, and there’s something really special about working alongside someone who understands that BMSF has never just been about selling insurance. She gets the heart behind what we do — and that’s something you can’t teach.

Outside of BMSF, Sydney is a mom of three, a full-time Pre-Construction Manager, an amazing cook, sushi lover, lyrical analyst 😂, Shameless binge-watcher and Venti Iced Chai Latte enthusiast.

And today she turns 33! 🎂

Sydney, you said I took a chance on you three times.

I’d do it a fourth. ❤️

❤️ HE WAS ONLY 24. AND ONE SMALL DECISION MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE.

Okay, BMSF family, we came across a real story shared by State Farm, and we think it’s worth taking a minute to read. 🥹❤️

Meet Raymond and Sabrina.

They were young, in love, and planning their future together.

Like most couples, they had conversations about life, their dreams, and taking care of each other.

One day, Raymond visited his local State Farm agency for auto insurance. While he was there, he also decided to purchase life insurance.

He was only 24.

Sadly, that Christmas Eve, Raymond was involved in a car accident and never made it home.

His fiancée, Sabrina, was devastated.

But Raymond had made a decision that would help during an incredibly difficult time.

His life insurance benefit helped make it possible for his remains to be returned to his mother in Puerto Rico, where she could lay him to rest.

❤️ FACE REVEAL: THE WOMAN BEHIND BMSF! ❤️

You’ve met some of the team. You’ve seen the personalities. You’ve probably realized we’re a little chaotic. 😂

But now it’s time to meet the woman who brought us all together.

MEET BRANDI MARK! ❤️

And trust us, there’s a whole lot more to her story than owning an insurance agency.

✨ SHE BET ON HERSELF BEFORE SHE KNEW HOW IT WOULD TURN OUT.

Picture this: Four months pregnant, managing a bank branch, raising a family, and being offered an opportunity in an industry she knew absolutely nothing about.

She turned it down. Three times. 😂

But eventually, she took the leap.

A $20,000 pay cut. A major career change. A whole lot of praying, crying, and wondering if she was making the right decision.

Turns out? It was one of the best decisions she ever made.

❤️ SHE BUILT THE KIND OF WORKPLACE SHE ONCE NEEDED.

For years, Brandi struggled with something so many working parents understand: feeling like she had to choose between being successful at work and being present for her children.

She never wanted anyone on her team to feel that way.

So she built an agency where family comes first, people are given opportunities, and someone who just needs a chance can find a place to grow.

Because she knows what it’s like to have someone believe in you before you fully believe in yourself.

And now? She gets to be that person for someone else. ❤️

🏆 HER PROUDEST MOMENT?

Not an award. Not a sales record.

It was hearing her son say he wanted to follow in her footsteps and become an agent.

After watching the long days, hard decisions, struggles, and successes, he still wanted to do what his mom does.

And now she gets to watch him build his own career right alongside her.

📣 Has never met an exciting thought that couldn’t immediately become an office announcement. Yes, even if it could’ve been an email.

❤️ AND HER NEXT BIG ADVENTURE?

Becoming a GRANDMOTHER! 🥹

After 20 years of marriage, raising a family, building a business, and navigating everything life has thrown their way, Brandi and her husband are getting ready for an entirely new chapter together.

And she couldn’t be more excited.

But if there’s one thing that really sums Brandi up, it’s this:

She doesn’t just want to build a successful business. She wants to build people up along the way.

She wants her children to know they can do hard things. She wants her team to know they’re capable of more than they realize. And she wants her agency to be more than just another business in the community.

So here’s to the woman behind BMSF. The mom, wife, soon-to-be grandmother, leader, mentor, and occasionally sarcastic office comedian. ❤️

12 YEARS. ONE FULL-CIRCLE MOMENT. AND A WHOLE LOT OF PERSONALITY. ❤️

You know her, you love her, and if you’ve ever worked with her, there’s a good chance she’s either made you laugh, given you some advice, or told you exactly how it is. 😂

IT’S KARI’S TURN! 🎉❤️

Kari has been with State Farm for 12 YEARS, and her story with BMSF actually started long before Brandi had an agency of her own!

Brandi was one of Kari’s very first mentors when she entered the industry. Over the years, that mentorship turned into a friendship, and now, more than a decade later, they’ve found themselves working side by side again.

Talk about a full-circle moment. 🥹❤️

When we asked Kari what she loves most about being here, her answer said a lot about who she is.

She loves the relationships she’s built, the people she gets to work with, and being part of something she’s watched Brandi work so hard to build.

And after 12 years, Kari says one of the biggest things she’s learned is that everyone wants to feel important and heard.

That’s something she carries into her work every day.

But don’t let all that experience fool you. Kari isn’t just here to be serious and keep everyone in line. 😂

She’s also one of the people who helps keep this office running, especially when Brandi is away!

She’s proud of the leadership role she’s grown into, the example she sets, and the relationships she’s built along the way.

And apparently, she’s also earned herself another title around the office…

THE WORK MOM. 😂❤️

Although she would like everyone to know that she is NOT actually old enough to be anyone’s mother here. Her words, not ours. 🤣

Okay, now for the good stuff, because we learned a few things about Kari that we think you NEED to know. 👀👇

🎮 She’s a gamer! And not just casually. Kari is VERY confident that she can beat you in Mario Kart. Anyone brave enough to challenge her?

🧭 Her sense of direction? Questionable. She admits she will confidently get everyone lost, but promises you’ll have a great time along the way. 😂

✈️ Her perfect day? Exploring a new city, enjoying a food or w**e tour, and ending the evening curled up on the couch with her boys and a good movie.

❤️ Her biggest accomplishment? The family she’s built with her husband and the incredible boys they’re raising together.

😂 Her office personality? A little sarcastic, a lot of funny, and not afraid to tell it like it is when she needs to.

But underneath all the jokes, Kari hopes the people around her know one thing: she genuinely cares about them and wants them to feel supported.

And we think that says everything. ❤️

Twelve years of experience, years of friendships, and a whole lot of memories later, Kari says being back alongside Brandi feels like exactly where she’s supposed to be.

And we’re pretty happy she’s here, too. 🥹❤️

What’s ONE adult responsibility nobody warned you would be so expensive?! 💸

🏠 Owning a home?
🚗 Keeping up with your car?
🛒 Buying groceries?
👶 Raising kids?
🤦‍♀️ Or something completely different?!

Because somewhere between being excited to grow up and actually becoming an adult, we realized… BEING AN ADULT IS EXPENSIVE. 😂

We spend our days helping people navigate the not-so-fun parts of adulthood, so we figured we’d have a little fun with it today!

FACE REVEAL #3 👀❤️

You’ve seen him around the office, and some of you may already know exactly who he is… but it’s officially Rylan’s turn!

Rylan is a Sales Team Lead/Account Manager at BMSF, but this isn’t just another job for him. He started working in the insurance industry right after graduating high school at 18, with a much bigger goal in mind: one day building an agency of his own.

And yes… there is a pretty obvious family connection here. 😂❤️ Brandi is Mom.

But what we loved about Rylan’s answers was hearing WHY he chose this path for himself.

Growing up, Rylan originally pictured a completely different future and even considered joining the Army after looking up to his uncle. As he got older, though, he started thinking more about the life he wanted to build for himself and his future family. Watching his mom build her business showed him another path, and eventually the idea of owning his own agency became a goal of his too.

Now at only 21 years old, that future is starting to feel a whole lot more real. ❤️

Rylan is actively working toward the requirements needed for his next step, with hopes of eventually opening an agency of his own.

But when we asked what he’s most excited about when he thinks about owning a business, his answer wasn’t really about the business at all.

It was about his family.

Rylan wants to build a career that allows him to be present for his wife and their growing family while creating something of his own. And that motivation means even more right now because…

HE’S ABOUT TO BE A DAD! 🥹👶❤️

Rylan and his wife are expecting their son, Ryver, and he says becoming a dad has given him an entirely new level of motivation to keep working toward the future he’s envisioned for years.

He’s excited for all of it, the good days, the hard days and everything they’re going to learn together as young parents.

The dirty diapers and blowouts, however?

He admits he is absolutely NOT prepared. 😂

One thing Rylan says he’ll take with him from working alongside Brandi is that people aren’t all motivated, taught or encouraged in the same way. He’s watched her learn the strengths of the people on her team and invest in each of them differently, and that’s something he hopes to carry into his own leadership style one day.

His goal? To build a team with clear expectations while also recognizing hard work, helping people grow and creating an environment where people want to succeed together.

Okay, enough serious stuff. You know we had to get some dirt too. 😂👇

🥊 He’s a HUGE UFC fan and grew up wrestling and participating in martial arts.

🐆 He’s equally obsessed with Jaguars football and has already declared that the Jags are going to the Super Bowl. We’ll revisit this statement later. 😂

🤦‍♂️ Apparently he trips or falls often enough that the entire office has accepted it as part of his personality.

👶 He’s currently preparing for his biggest role yet: Dad.

❤️ And five years from now? Success to Rylan looks pretty simple: having his own business, watching his son grow up and building a life with his wife that he’s proud of.

When we asked what he eventually wants his own business to be known for, his answer was simple too:

A place where people feel comfortable calling, feel like they’re talking to someone who knows them, and know there’s a real person on the other end of the phone.

For someone who started working toward this at 18, there’s still a lot ahead but we’d say 21-year-old Rylan has a pretty exciting next chapter coming. ❤️
