🌸 Join the Fight Against Ovarian Cancer! 🌸
September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, a time to come together and raise our voices against this silent but deadly disease. Ovarian cancer is often diagnosed at advanced stages, making awareness crucial for early detection and treatment.
Women should see their physician (preferably a gynecologist) for evaluation if any of the following symptoms are new within the past year, and occur more than 12 times in a month:
- abdominal bloating
- pelvic pain or pressure
- unintended weight loss
- abnormal vaginal bleeding or discharge
- difficulty eating
Early detection can make a world of difference!
Let's spread the word, support survivors, and honor those who have battled this disease. Share this post to help raise awareness, educate others, and encourage regular health check-ups. Knowledge is power, and together, we can make a difference. 💙
