He was able to live to almost 100 years old independently and by his choices due to the planning he did decades before. I am lucky to have found a career that is also a passion, enabling us to make a positive, life-long impact on our clients. Right after college, where I studied economics and psychology, I joined the financial services industry in 1985. My early years were not ideal while I stru
ggled with industry priorities versus my own. Their ideal that the client always comes first aligned perfectly with mine. I have had the privilege to serve on the leadership of the firm as a General Partner and continue to coach both new and veteran advisors and leaders. My amazing wife Debby and I raised to wonderful daughters in St. We enjoy traveling, skiing and tennis together. Watching them grow has been both rewarding and emotional as they are entering adulthood and leaving the nest. My wife and I are very passionate about serving our community. This passion has even led us on a yearly 7 day, 545 mile bicycle ride from Staten Island to Niagara Falls to raise money for cancer research. I serve on boards of the Deepwells Farm Historical Society, Saint James Chamber of Commerce, Long Island Adolescent and Family Services, Long Island Walk for Alzheimer's and as a past president and member of the Smithtown Rotary Club. I have been honored as the Volunteer of the Year by Suffolk County and the Volunteer of the Decade by the St. Our branch team includes branch office administrator Caroline Curry. Caroline has been in financial services since 2005. She lives in St. James with her husband and young daughter. (Her daughter is the official boss in their home!)
