There are a few things that make me stop, Think, question, and even ask why???
One of those things is watching a child fighting illness. It breaks my heart that they have to deal with such adversity when they don’t understand what is really happening. I feel for the parents and family members knowing the only thing they can do is Love and try to comfort. There isn’t anything worse than to watch someone you love suffering and fighting illness. I am reminded today as I look at my perfect little nephew that I can do better… that I can be better!!!! Toby doesn’t know it but he is a true example and a real HERO to me. He reminds me that we can do hard things… that we can face hardship and adversity head on… that we can love… that we can look for the good in people and in everyday life… that we can enjoy the smallest of wins…that we can focus on the positive things and not dwell on the negative…that we can overlook others shortcomings…and that we can see the blessings that a loving Family and Heavenly Father brings. I love you Toby and you keep reminding me that I can be Tough like Toby!!!!

This little Guy could sure use some positive thoughts and Prayers. I believe in the power of prayer and putting positive vibes out in the universe and Toby and our family could use it. My heart aches for him. He is at Primary Childrens Hospital and has the best Doctors helping him and figuring out treatments. Cancer SUCKS and hits even harder when it involves children. I hope he knows how much his uncle Jade loves him.

What a Sire!!!!

The Goodbye Lanes had an amazing week at the Pink Buckle, winning an incredible $406,000!!! We can’t thank the Pink Buckle enough for putting on such an amazing, first class event and letting us be apart of it!

Thank you to all of the owners, breeders and riders that continue to believe and support The Goodbye Lane. We can’t wait to see what the future holds, what a ride! 😎🖤🤎

When I saw these earnings the first thing that came to my mind was WOW RODEO HAS A LONG WAY TO GO!!!! I understand Golf isn’t Rodeo but looks to me like Golf keeps getting better and better. I am not saying I have the answers but sure looks like something can be done. sets a earnings record in 2022 of $758,828.78 and earned every dime!!! PGA pro Kurt Kitayama won $3.6 million in one tournament!!!! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

The days go slow but the years go fast….. it seems so long ago but the memories and experiences I was able to have showing horses seem like yesterday. I was so lucky and blessed to show with the best horseman of all time!!!!
I would spend hours watching them with their horses getting them ready to show. Sam Rose was one of those I watched a lot. His Rope Horses had a look about them that was incredible!!! They were so broke, slick and pretty and man did they work!!! The horse industry lost a great man…. Thoughts and Prayers to his family at this time

The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) is deeply saddened to share the unexpected passing of NCHA Director of Judges Sam Rose of Gainesville, Texas, earlier this morning, November 18, 2022.

Rose was heavily respected throughout both the NCHA and the equine industry as a whole, judging world-class events and riding and training multiple world champion horses throughout his career. The son of the late NCHA Hall of Famer Matlock Rose, Sam grew up in the equine industry and developed an unmatched wealth of knowledge throughout his lifetime. He became an NCHA member in 1981 and an NCHA judge in 1999, earning an AAAA rating. Sam became the NCHA Director of Judges earlier this year in April of 2022.

During his time as the director of judges, Sam rapidly made good changes to the department, including further development in the education programs for both NCHA judges and the NCHA membership.

Sam was known for his warm, friendly demeanor, smiling face and vast knowledge of horses and the industry he loved. The association and the equine industry as a whole will deeply miss him.
