Did you hear about Venmo? They will be charging a service fee, as of July 20, 2021. It’s 1.9% + 10 cents per transaction. They are owned by PayPal, so a matter of time that they were going to charge fees.
There are a couple alternatives that don’t charge processing fees.
The Cash App is powered by Square, most small businesses are using square now. They are willing to give you $5 for trying it… bit.ly/5billbonus
Zelle is another processor that can be used to transfer funds for goods and services. Most popular financial institutions offer this processing service. Just ask your bank to see.
As a normal consumer, all payment processors are recommended to have in your pocket to expedite payment. This is in case the other person does not have your preferred processor.
The two mentioned above, do not assess a processing fee. They are recommended to use and not pay any fees for processing transactions.
