Trying to buy before you sell? Putting in an offer without a home sale contingency makes your offer far more competitive. A common barrier to this strategy is your debt to income ratio being too high due to the mortgage payment on your current home. Well, I have an excellent solution to that! 2026 conforming loan limits have been released. The new limit for one unit properties is $832,750. This is an increase of 3.15% from 2025’s limit of $806,500. The real estate market still remains very strong as we close out 2025 and head into 2026.
